The What
We’ve been invited to perform at the Bands of America Super Regional in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Saturday, October 21, 2023. We will perform for thousands of spectators in Lucas Oil Stadium. Our marching band is one of only two university bands nationwide invited to perform.
The Need
Funding this October trip will take considerable resources. Funds are needed to cover transportation, equipment transport, an overnight hotel stay in Indianapolis, food for students, and many other expenses. During the summer and beginning of the fall semester, we will host and work several fundraising activities. However, we will still need additional help. We are asking our proud band alumni and supporters of music and the arts to donate to the Marching Band to help fund our trip to Indianapolis. Please consider sending a musician on this trip!
The Why
As the largest student organization on campus, we continue to serve the University and region by providing both entertainment and spirit on game days, parades, alumni events, and multiple other occasions. Many of you will have fond memories of Marching Band. We hope to offer this same type of experience to our Fall 2023 Southeast Marching Band students.
